Therapy Approach

I provide psychotherapy grounded in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. I help clients develop insight into their emotional and thought patterns and support them in building practical, sustainable tools to make meaningful change in their lives. Whether addressing life transitions, mental health challenges, or developmental differences, I aim to create a space where growth is supported and sustainable.

Who I Work With

  • Adults – I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, life stressors, and relational challenges. I help them identify patterns, strengthen their coping skills, and align their daily choices with personal values.

  • Individuals in the Perinatal Period  – I work with individuals during the perinatal period, focusing on mood regulation, adjustment, and self-compassion.

  • Children and Families - I work with children and families to help the child and family to develop emotional awareness, coping strategies, and build behaviors that help the system to function with 'love and limits.'

  • Individuals with Neurodevelopmental Differences – I provide therapy for adults with ADHD, autism spectrum, or other neurodiverse profiles. I focus on helping clients to build emotion awareness, social skills, and behavioral strategies to foster understanding and acceptance within themselves and the family and social systems in which they engage.

  • Individuals in the LGBTQ+ community - I support LGBTQ+ clients navigate mental health issues and other stressors and work collaboratively to support exploration, acceptance, and thriving in their lives and in relation to being LGBTQ+.

Therapeutic Approaches Used

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Cultivates psychological flexibility by helping clients stay present, accept internal experiences, and take values-guided action.

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) – Strengthens self-compassion and reduces shame/self-criticism, fostering emotion regulation and a sense of inner safeness.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Provides skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Useful for managing intense emotions and improving relationships. Note: I utilize DBT in my practice but do not provide comprehensive DBT services. Practices that provide comprehensive DBT services are better suited for individuals who would benefit from a higher level of care than weekly or twice weekly therapy.

  • Trauma-Informed Care – Creates a collaborative, predictable environment, supporting safety and empowerment while tailoring interventions to each client’s pace and readiness.

  • Psychedelic Integration Therapy – Provides a structured space to process, ground, and translate insights from psychedelic experiences. Focuses on safety, meaning-making, and values alignment. Note: I provide psychedelic integration support for individuals who have previously undergone a structured or unstructured psychedelic experience and would like ongoing support. I do not offer psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
