Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy

Q: Who do you work with?
A: I work with adults, children and families, perinatal clients, individuals with neurodevelopmental differences, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I have a particular clinical focus on anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Each client receives care tailored to their unique goals, strengths, and challenges.

Q: What is your therapeutic approach?
A: I provide psychotherapy grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. My approach integrates evidence-based strategies with a focus on insight, practical skill-building, and alignment with client values.

Q: Which evidence-based therapies do you use?
A: I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I also offer psychedelic integration therapy for clients who have previously undergone a psychedelic experience and are looking for ongoing integration support.

Q: Do you provide psychedelic-assisted therapy?
A: No. I do not currently provide direct psychedelic-assisted therapy, but I offer integration therapy to help clients process and apply insights.

Q: How long does therapy sessions typically last?
A: Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes.

Q: How do you track progress in therapy?
A: I use measurement-based care, including validated brief assessments to track symptoms, functioning, and goals over time. We review this data together to collaboratively guide your treatment and ensure its effectiveness.

Q: Do you offer telehealth sessions, in-person sessions, or both?
A: I offer remote sessions throughout California, with limited in-person availability in Los Angeles.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Some insurance-based sessions are available through Alma. Please see Alma link for session availability. Note: I only reserve a portion of my practice for insurance pay, and if you do not see availability on Alma, it means I am not currently taking more insurance clients.

Q: What is your rate?

A: My rate is $325 per session. I can provide a superbill for clients to submit for Out of Network reimbursement. I also offer sliding scale based on need to a limited number of clients.

Q: What should I expect in my first session?
A: The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another as well as discuss your goals, history, and current challenges. We’ll explore your needs, discuss any questions you may have about therapy or my approach, and begin collaboratively designing a treatment approach that is right for you.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: I have a 24 hours’ notice policy for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid fees.

Q: Do you provide services to clients outside California?
A: I am licensed in California and only provide services to clients within the state.
